How To Prepare For New Or Replacement Window Installation
Although our window technicians are very careful around your personal valuables & belongings, we recommend moving such items to a safe out of the way place while your windows are being worked on. This ensures a more open space for our window experts to maneuver tools, glass, window frames etc.
Once your designated window tech has arrived they will get to work laying tarps, ladders, platforms etc on the exterior of your home. They will also place drop cloths, tools etc close to the interior windows of your home.
Next your tech will get to work removing storm doors, screens, sliding tracks and sashes from your exterior windows
Once the area is secure and completely prepped they will then remove your older windows. Depending on whether you are having a pocket window installation or a full frame replacement done they will proceed with installing the new windows, frames, or glass.
Next they will add in the insulation you have chosen and continue with the finishing touches
Once everything is installed and in proper place they will then set about cleaning up their work areas leaving things just as they found them beforehand. Except of course with your fabulous new windows in place!
